Freight Broker (Agent) – Commission Program Location: Remote / Nationwide Experience: 1–3 years with an active book of business Compensation: High-commission structure, uncapped earning potential We are seeking motivated Freight Broker Agents based nationally to join our growing logistics network under a competitive commission program. This opportunity is ideal for independent, sales-driven freight professionals with 1 to 3 years of brokerage experience, an established book of business, and the desire to grow without territory restrictions. As a Freight Broker Agent, you will develop and manage customer relationships while arranging reliable logistics solutions across warehousing, domestic transportation, port drayage, intermodal freight, and cross-border shipping. This role offers the flexibility to operate from anywhere in the U.S. while leveraging strong back-office support and a commission structure built for high performers. Responsibilities The Freight Broker Agent will be responsible for growing and managing a profitable customer base, quoting freight opportunities, coordinating shipments, and maintaining strong relationships with both shippers and carrier partners. Key responsibilities include: • Develop, maintain, and grow an active book of business with shippers, manufacturers, importers, exporters, and distributors. • Sell logistics services including warehousing, domestic truckload and LTL, port drayage, intermodal, and cross-border transportation. • Source, qualify, and negotiate with carriers to secure reliable capacity and competitive rates. • Quote shipments, manage margins, and follow up on customer opportunities. • Coordinate shipments from tender through delivery, including scheduling, tracking, documentation, and issue resolution. • Build long-term customer relationships through responsive communication, reliable service, and consultative logistics support. • Identify customer needs and offer practical solutions across multiple transportation modes. • Coordinate with internal operations, dispatch, warehouse, and carrier partners to ensure smooth execution. • Monitor market conditions, lane pricing, capacity trends, and carrier performance. • Maintain accurate records of customer activity, quotes, loads, carrier information, and margins. • Resolve service issues, delays, accessorial charges, claims, or documentation concerns professionally and promptly. Qualifications The ideal candidate will be an experienced Freight Broker Agent with an active book of business and 1 to 3 years of freight brokerage, logistics sales, or transportation sales experience. Experience with domestic transportation, drayage, intermodal, warehousing, or cross-border freight is strongly preferred. Candidates should be self-motivated, organized, customer-focused, and comfortable operating in an agent-based, commission-driven environment. Strong communication, negotiation, carrier sourcing, and account management skills are essential. Compensation This role offers a great commission program with no earning caps. Freight Broker Agents who bring strong customer relationships, consistent sales activity, and reliable execution will have significant income growth potential while operating nationally.
