Location: Garden Grove, CA Experience: 1-3 years Salary: $4000 to $5500 We are a fast-growing company in the logistics industry and now are looking for an experienced, efficient, and self-motivated Port/Drayage Dispatcher. relate experience in Port/Drayage trucking industry and good qualifications. Responsibilities • Proper execution of dispatch and planning functions, including start of day and end of day processes, ensuring all orders are assigned for on time service and all available capacity is properly utilized • Ensure dispatch records are timely and accurately updated in the company’s TMS • Responsible to track and trace drivers from the beginning of their work assignment until completion, keeping dispatch board updated on driver routes, ETA and any delays • Interact with Steamship Line and terminals for any problems related with the shipment(s) and to verify export bookings or empty container returns • Knowledge of LA/LB ports for efficient and effective planning for dual transactions on high volume and driver productivity • Check yard reports and ensure containers are terminated on or before last free day • Interact with other dispatcher(s) and office staffs Qualifications: • Strong oral and written communication skills • Problem-solving skills, high energy level, dependable, hard-working, and emotional control • Ability to prioritize workload and thrive in a fast paced, high stress environment • Team player • Schedule will be Monday - Friday (7:00am to 5:00pm). Weekend availability • Full-time Pay $4,000-$5,000/ Depend on your experience.
