Dear Jason,

We need help finding another truck here in northern NJ.

We have gathered various items including some furniture that we want to move to Dallas, TX in response to hurricane Rita. From Dallas, the donations will get distributed to those affected.

This is all being coordinated through Catholic Charities. Joe Duffy from this organization will be overseeing the 8-10 volunteers we have to load this truck. We also volunteers who will unload in Dallas.

Can you help us find a 48' truck this week?

We will pay the drivers fuel if necessary. We have to get these donations moved out on Saturday to make room.

I would like to let you know what we have so far: Frank Lazaro with Container Network has donated $2000 and a 20’ container. The first thing that was asked for was WATER. Every penny will be used to buy water and it will be put in the 20’ container and taken to Covington, LA. To the Louisiana State Wildlife and Fishery Dept. These guys are the ones in the boats pulling people out of New Orleans and taking them to dry land. Cargostore International has donated $1500 for WATER. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT. EVERYTHING THAT IS DONATED TO THIS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE CAUSE. We now have 3 collection locations around Houston. 2 in Clear Lake, 1 at IAH, and 1 on the west side. I will get the addresses, contacts and hours of collection times and will forward to everyone I know. PLEASE DO THE SAME. My goal is to have these containers filled by Tuesday evening or Wednesday for delivery to Louisiana. I will be there this weekend and will help out in the effort as much as I can.
