How to use LoadMatch: Another feature that makes LoadMatch unique from other load matching web sites is our technology to transfer information. The availability of loads, trucks and equipment changes throughout the day; therefore, we have created technology to help make this continual process of posting and updating availability information easier. Here are a few of the ways to post information on LoadMatch: |
Single Entry: | sign in to LoadMatch, post a single entry through a form. (standard on all web sites) |
Batch File: | sign in to LoadMatch, select a batch file from your computer and upload file into LoadMatch. (see below) |
FTP Batch File: | send a batch file via FTP to be automatically uploaded into database. (does not require signing in to web site) |
Direct Connection: | connect directly to the LoadMatch system to post availability, receive matches, and confirm transactions. |
The batch file type can be text, excel, access, etc, but we prefer a simple tabbed delimited .txt file. If you are ready to send XML data, send your tag names and definitions and we can accept that too. We have example .txt files available to help create a data file formated to our specifications. We can also build a conversion table to accept your already existing data file. The table is connected to your LoadMatch account and converts your existing file to our format. Just tell us when your file layout or format changes so we can modify your conversion table accordingly.
